Terms and Conditions: Returns for Damaged or Defective Items
Damages and Issues
While rare, issues can occur. To ensure confidence when purchasing art online, I offer a prompt replacement if your artwork is defective, damaged during shipping, or if an incorrect item is delivered.
Please examine your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if there are any issues, such as defects, damages, or receiving the wrong item, so we can resolve the matter quickly.
If your item is damaged upon arrival, you must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the package to facilitate a swift replacement. Please provide the following photos:
- The outer shipping box
- The shipping label on the box
- The damage to the artwork or frame
If a replacement is unavailable, I will issue store credit or a gift card for the equivalent value.
In some cases, a return may be necessary for evaluation before a refund is processed. If so, I will cover the return shipping cost. In other instances, I may process the replacement or refund without requiring the defective item to be returned.
If you notify me of any damages or defects more than 24 hours after receiving your package, I cannot guarantee a replacement or refund.
Cancellations and Exchanges
As all art prints are made to order, cancellations or changes to your order must be requested within 1 hour of purchase. After this period, I cannot guarantee that your order can be modified or canceled.
European Union 3-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is being shipped to a location within the European Union, you are entitled to cancel your purchase within 3 days for any reason and without explanation.
Refunds for Cancelled Orders
If your cancellation is approved, your payment will be refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may require additional time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return or cancellation was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact me at info@elizabethart.art.
Returns for Change of Mind
Once the 1-hour cancellation window has passed (or the 3-day cooling-off period for EU customers), I cannot accept returns or cancellations based on a change of mind.
Each fine art print is custom-made with great care and attention. As I do not keep stock, I cannot accept returns, exchanges, or change-of-mind cancellations.
For items shipped directly from framers or fine art printers, please do not return your purchase to the sender listed on the shipping label. I cannot ensure safe receipt, and this may result in the loss of your purchase.
Original Paintings: Due to the high value of original artwork, all sales of original paintings are final, and returns are not accepted.
Sale Items and Gift Cards: Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
